Buyer's decision brief: Changing pads wholesale
Whenever you evaluate Changing pads wholesale, the decision ultimately rests on four measurable things: unit landed cost, minimum order, lead time, and how consistently the factory can repeat the order. Buyers who optimise only for the first of these tend to lose money on the other three. Getting all four in writing before a deposit — including the inspection standard — removes most of the risk in a first order.
The most reliable way to de-risk Changing pads wholesale is to test before committing. Order samples from two suppliers, compare them on stitch density, edge finishing, hardware plating and lining accuracy, and run a small first order before scaling. The factories that welcome this process are almost always the ones worth building a range with.
What buyers actually need from Changing pads wholesale
This is a safety-sensitive category. Buyers are usually baby retailers, subscription boxes or hospital and childcare suppliers, and their customers will forgive a high price far more readily than a chemical smell or a strap that fails.
| Category specification | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Typical size | 30×25×15 cm to 40×30×18 cm |
| Lining | Wipe-clean polyester or TPU, phthalate-free |
| Features | Insulated pockets · changing mat · stroller clips · wet compartment |
| Compliance | CPSIA for US · EN 71 where marketed as a children's product |
| MOQ | Custom 100 pcs · ready stock from 1 pc |
Specification points that decide quality
- Wipe-clean or TPU lining is non-negotiable — absorbent linings stain permanently on first use.
- Insulated bottle pockets need to actually insulate; specify the foam thickness.
- Stroller strap compatibility and one-handed opening are the features reviews mention most.
- Low-odour, phthalate-free materials: parents smell a new bag before they look at it.
Two checks before you approve bulk
- Check for odour straight out of the polybag — a strong chemical smell is an automatic reject.
- Pull-test every strap and clip at 5 kg; a diaper bag carries far more than parents expect.

- Choosing on unit price alone without confirming inspection standard and lead time.
- Skipping physical samples and relying on photos.
- Not clarifying packaging, barcodes and labelling requirements early.
- Placing a first order at maximum volume instead of testing.
